Why would any decent person need to be "pushed" into supporting equal rights for gays who want to marry? Even many Republican lawmakers are coming around on this issue, as seen in NY.

Clearly, his position on this is based on what he believes will net him the most votes come election time instead of what is right and wrong. When he says that his opinion on this is evolving, what he's really saying is that he'll come out in favor of gay marriage when he's decided that it won't hurt him politically.

This lack of principal is beyond disappointing, it's abjectly disgusting.
