5. That is happening in other states too. It is a STATE issue. The President can't inject himself into
Edited on Sat Jun-11-11 08:39 AM by RBInMaine
all this. Same crap going on in Maine. You can blame the people who voted the right wingers in last November. Now take your energy and do the Wisconsin recalls and get control of your state again.

4. FDR... on steroids!
Edited on Sat Jun-11-11 08:37 AM by MannyGoldstein

(Except FDR welcomed his enemies' hatred, and halved unemployment in his first term while growing the economy by 8% per year.)

8. Deja vu
I can't remember the exact number of times I've heard Obama give this speech. It is belied by the obvious fact that corporate America has no interest in increasing employment in this country. The new structural unemployment rate will hover around 9% until it goes up. It won't go down.

At some point there can no longer be any excuse for being a sucker.

10. "Boca de oro" "Acciones de mierda"
Keep making excuses, keep lowering Democratic standards. Remember, Republicans win, Democrats make excuses.

To compare FDR to Obama..., Speaks volumes for the future of Progressive policy in America. You figure it out.

15. You want living wage jobs in this country?
Nation wide high speed rail. Hundreds of thousands of jobs, plus the spin off employment from building and maintaining the system. Think the Interstate highway system started in the 1950's. I even got to help build part of it in the mid 1960's.

That is the real reason the Republicans are against High Speed Rail - jobs. Long term, living wage jobs.
