Mike Papantonio and Ed Schultz discuss the latest developments in the Anthony Weiner saga, and they ponder how long it will take before the Congressman does the right thing and steps down.

1. Bullshit
if he resigns it makes the Dems look even more like wimpy cave ins

When David Vitter resigns, then MAYBE Weiner should.

I am sick and tired of these Dems, they are made to look weaker every day as they cave into the right wing agenda and they look more like fools every minute currying favor with the idiots on the right who are laughing in their faces.

13. exactly. thank you.
dems can seem to find their spine on this, but they can't seem to find their spine on anything else.

Puritanical pearl clutchers going hard in the paint, meanwhile, they're willing to sell out the working/middle class.

Try growing a pair.

3. Real World to Papantino: Piss Off
Well, unless you want a bunch of elves examining every aspect of your own personal lives and putting them up for public scrutiny.

Actually, that's what it will take to get rid of this faux outrage over violated prudery.

I want to keep Weiner in Congress, he's been very effective.

25. Yep.
Big-hearted Ed, fresh back from his self-imposed vacation (and not resigning) after calling Laura Ingraham a right-wing slut, takes it upon himself to lead the spineless gang in Congress and call for Weiner's resignation. Mike's first impression that Weiner, one of the few in Congress with a spine to match his balls, should stay was correct.

5. Fuck you Mike - And fuck the republicans! STOP stabbing Weiner in the back!
Edited on Fri Jun-10-11 03:17 PM by LaPera
Usually...... ALWAYS on your side Mike....BUT stop the backstabbing of Anthony Weiner - As I posted to your buddy Ed Schultz yesterday....Republicans don't need your fucking help Mike - Weiner is a great congressman a democratic fighter - I really don't give a fuck what he does on the internet with his own time - Show me a man married or not (especially married) who doesn't think about pussy night & day and I'll show you either a fucking liar a gay man or a dead man!

ALL men are fucking dogs, I don't deny it, I am too, always have been always will be and every man I know or have ever knew, known or heard about lies about it....but the ones that deny it are fucking lying motherfucker!

Weiner sure as fuck never hurt anyone and it's not for anyone to stick their nose in their marriage - I know in my marriage there is great understanding....if one is so fucking shallow there isn't in theirs than live with it and one can go fuck ONES-SELF!

SO SHUT THE FUCK UP MIKE!

they can't seem to find their spine when it comes to the fukkery Thomas and his wife have done--illegal fukkery at that, but they go hard in the paint on WHAT Rep. Weiner has done? And they call that leadership?

DO. NOT. QUIT, REP. WIENER.

7. Hey Papantonio do the right thing and shut the fuck up
And stop listening to that windbag Schultz.

I know these assholes stick their fingers in the wind to determine what positions they should take when a scandal involves a Democrat but they have missed the boat badly on this one.

Weiner's constituents want him to stick it out and as time goes by and this thing dies down, the majority of Democratic voters will stop giving a rats ass about it.

So why keep stirring it up? To make the republicans respect your bipartisanship? That's a laugh, to them "bipartisan" equals "sucker".

9. Translation:
A Democrat should continue the fine tradition of the past 20 years and cave in to Republican pressure.

Enough of this crap, its time to stand up to the bullies and tell them to fuck off.

get off the RW BS pony-and Stand with your Own! He has done More for bringing attention to the corruption and dysfunction in DC that you ever have and you're good too. People Listen to Weiner, he has a bigger audience; He Fights For ALL of us! His job performance by far outweighs this matter. WE Want More lawmakers like Weiner, Not fewer and I'm stunned you cannot see this for the attack it is from "The Carbuncle Soup Crew" for Political Benefit and maybe because he was demanding that Justice Thomas Recuse himself from the upcoming Health Care issue. All of a sudden all that disappeared from the conversation, didn't it?
Damn, you AND Ed both fell for it and threw Weiner under the bus!
Shame on you. Just the way it is!

...you self-righteous puritanical asshole.

1) His behavior was consensual

2) He did nothing illegal

3) He did nothing hypocritical

4) His constituents overwhelmingly support him staying in place

5) 99% of the assholes in Congress have lied about actual life or death matters...with complete impunity

6) As one of the few Congressman that actually confronts the oligarchy, his continued presence in Congress is invaluable

19. I thought Schultz and Papantonio
were liberal Democrats. Why would they want to castrate (pun intended)one of the few liberal members of Congress for lying about a legal and consensual titillation between consenting adults that was really nobody else's business in the first place?

go after the strongest democrats (as the rest of the democrats no balls wimps go running and do not support their own IN THEIR OWN PARTY! - They even ran from Howard Dean when the republicans attack and the the Dems showed zero, none, no support for the great Howard Dean).

(As seen on Cenk's MSNBC show).

"OBSCENE" "Torture is obscene - Banks receiving government money and throwing people out of their homes is obscene, republicans cutting poor children's nutrient & food programs is obscene".

Weiner's private life is his own and none of your fucking business he didn't hurt anyone, that's between he and his wife's it's their business and the business of the voters in his district - Voters who overwhelming support Anthony Weiner!!

So go FUCK yourself Mike & ED!

This is soooo low on the obscene and criminal scale compared with wars and the unimagineable waste of our money and lives and robberies by banks and energy companies, for example.

The war criminals and those that torture and commit crimes against humanity stay and someone with consensual sex between adults requires resignation. And we have Justice Thomas not disclosing lying about money being given to his wife.

Why is he being held to a higher standard than a President? Bill Clinton actually had sex and lied in court. This did not rise to the level of being an impeachable offense(s).
