6. Yep, His Show in Penalty Box
First, I fast-forwarded through the 44 full fracking minutes he spend on Weiner's weiner two nights ago. Last night, he was in the penalty box (didn't bother to record). Shows MSNBC to not be liberal media. At least Lawrence and Rachel are taking a different tac, as well as Cenk to some extent, pointing out hypocrisy in Republicans, who've kept people who have done worse.

2. Ed went against Weiner too quickly
that doesn't say much for Ed. All Politicians lie that is a known fact, also the News media today is full of a lot of jackasses. I don't like what Weiner did but I still think he is as good or better that any Republican in Washington. The Republican party is no better than communist today, no sane person should believe in anything that Ayn Rand has written.

4. Republican/communist?
WHOA. The Republican party is the furthest you could be from Communism (let alone Socialism-the good guys in any such philosophy). Ayn Rand, from personal experience, hated Communism. I do agree with your last statement, and do agee about Weiner.

3. Ed was wrong this time
It sorta irked me that he had the SAME question for viewers, two nights in a row. T'was almost like he was hoping he could change the outcome.

5. Ed was recently suspended for remarks he made
he is lucky that they didn't play those remarks in a loop day in and day out. I've never seen them. He likes to judge others and always overstates the case. Weiner did this in private most of the time, he did this, he was unmarried. He lied but not under oath, then came foward, with the truth. The hyprocritical press is shocked but can't get enough of it. Ed opened the show with a tirade against Weiner hoping to change minds, RUSH WOULD HAVE BEEN PROUD.
Weiner is right on the issues and votes that way. He is a strong advocate for his constituents, not a cry baby like ED. Ed was a big critic of Obama pre 2010 election and helped diminish dem turnout.

12. He Said Something Like
"No I think the viewers want to hear and talk about this," and I translated that to mean "No, I want to try and talk constantly about this issue and get people to agree with me on this."

I get a kick out of the media pretending "the people" want to talk about an issue, when in fact they aren't responding to "the people" but using their power to brainwash "the people" on an issue.

Ed's wrong, totally wrong on this issue. Republicans try to win, they circle the wagons, try to win their case, defend one-another. Democrats tend to want to be fair, so they are fair, then they lose, one election after another. At least LBJ realized you had to "do everything possible, and you will win." It is what he said, it is what he believed, it is what he did.

Every once and a while, if the republicans are doing it, you've got to stuff a ballot box, or rig a machine, or coax a voter through odd means, or deceive, or support folks who might've slipped up and been stupid. Don't worry about being fair Ed. Worry about winning.

No, you aren't Rush Limbaugh, but you are sure carrying his water on this issue. Does anyone thing FOX treated Vitter this way? Republicans are such disgusting hypocrites on this issue, which is much more important than Weiner. Stop trying to destroy one of the best democrats in the House.

7. Don't agree
that they should hold Bill Clinton up as the model of a good president - I'm talking about policies...This is like desperation within the Democratic Party.

8. Can't ride with you Ed on this one...
If everyone who had an affair or flirted with folks other than their spouses quit their jobs, unemployment would skyrocket.

Who knew that we have so many perfect people among us, who have never made any mistakes in their lives. Of course Weiner's behavior was juvenile and wrong, but I just don't get the sense of outrage that is going around. The same liberals and Democrats who are calling for him to step down stood by Clinton.

If you owned a company and found out that one of your best employees was cheating on his spouse would you fire him? New Yorkers hired a politician to do a job and to my knowledge he's done his job well. They didn't hire him to be their spiritual adviser, pastor or priest. So let's put away the phony outage. The only person IMO who has a legitimate reason to be outraged is his wife. New York would be in better shape today if Eliot Spitzer hadn't of stepped down. It's kind of odd to see Democrats turning into the "moral police" I thought they frown upon intrusions into personal lives.

9. it wasn't a physical relationship.
it was a stupid thing to do, especially for a high profile congressman from NY. With all the idiots looking for fifteen minutes of fame, it was bound to come out. We aren't talking criminal behavior. Lying was the biggest offence about a personal matter. However he doesn't lie about where he stands on issues; and is an advocate for policies for the middle class. The press loves covering the lies; how about as much coverage when he is doing his job and telling the truth about republican lies that have a REAL effect on our lives.

10. Proud of Pelosi.....

for investigating photo of a penis? After she took impeachment off the table and refused to investigate wars crimes and crimes against humanity? She should be sent to the Hague along with Bush, Cheney, and Obama.

Let's try to grow up. Everyone has sex and everyone lies about it. They couldn't impeach Clinton even when he lied under path in a court. Because it didn't rise to the level of high crimes.

Not surprising the Dems fall apart with the slightest heat from the Republicans. Quite a few thought it perfectly fine for Larry Craig to remain in the Senate or how about Vitter and Ensign?

14. They only thing that will get a politician in trouble is sex.
You can lie this country into was, commit war crimes, sell the country to the uberwealthy and corporate interests and nobody will touch you. What a sad state of affairs.

13. I am so fed up with the obsession that too many
groups/people have with the personal lives/sex lives of others. We are living in serious times and too much time is wasted on frivolous issues. They need to stop focusing people's private lives, stop generating legislation that is interfering with our personal lives or denying equality to all and start working on the economy and job creation.

15. Ed was about to blow a gasket when Bill Press said that.
We have to stop throwing our own under the bus. At least give it some time to let it all sink in.

Ed tried hard this week to convince viewers with his daily question to agree that Weiner needs to resign the House. At least that's how I viewed it.

Each day, the viewers not only disagreed with Ed, but each day the disagreement margin became wider.

Should he resign?

Monday 6/6 33% = yes; 67% = no.

Tuesday 6/7 29% = yes; 71% = no.

Does the Anthony Weiner episode make it harder for Democrats to get their agenda passed?

Wednesday 6/8 43% = yes; 57% = no.

I don't know what Ed asked on Thursday, I changed channels after Rachel - which is unusual for me. I'm just sick & tired of the bombastic bullcrap.
