4. Motion to adjourn is a debatable motion
It has nothing to do with Harry Reid's temperament or will.

2. Thank goodness
we have hapless Harry Reid to fight for us. He's awwwwwwwwesome. Our equally hapless administration is breathing a bit easier today.

5. What do you suggest he do? Sneak in at night and edit the Senate's rulebook...
...hoping the Republicans won't notice?

3. this is another absurd result of the left orgs ignoring RW talk radio
the obstructionists have NOTHING without 1000 university endorsed heritage foundation liars creating made-to- order constituencies, but the left continues to ignore the invisible talk radio problem, keeping the GOP in line.

6. Have you heard
of the Hapless Harry Hardball Bargaining School of Hard Knocks? A few rising stars like Chuck and Dick are among his top pupils.
Here's an example from one lesson:
GOP senator: "I want 2 of ..."
Harry: "Two of what?"
GOP senator: "I want 3 of ..."
Harry: "Hold on a minute. I'll give you 4 and no less."
GOP senator: "You sure are a hard bargainer, Harry. I don't know if I can sell this to my party."
Meanwhile, two weeks later ...
GOP senator: "Remember those 7 ..."
Harry: "Wait a minute, I thought it was 8."
GOP senator: "You're right, Harry it was 9."
Harry: "10 it is. And don't come back again asking for less."
GOP: "Harry, you sure are a hardball."
Harry: "Why thank-you."

7. OK, Reid-villifiers, what's your suggestion?
How does he pass a debatable motion to adjourn when there are sufficient Republican votes to deny cloture? Seriously, what would you do in his position?

8. To his credit
Harry did bring about a vote last week on Ryan's Kill-Medicare plan.

9. Is that the case?
I'm asking because I don't know. Having watched the video it seems that all Reid had to do was say no to Boehner. Again, I don't know if it's that simple. If it was then Reid definitely should have told Boehner no.

10. What does Boehner have to do with this? The problem is DeMint
DeMint has denied unanimous consent, which is what you normally need to adjourn. If Reid presses the issue, he'll have to find 61 votes, which aren't there.

11. That's why I asked.
The narrator in the video said that DeMint called Boehner first, Boehner then called Reid. So while I have no idea what Boehner has to do with this the narrator said the request to deny Senate adjournment does start with him. I admit I am really confused.
