5. The psychology of all this is fascinating.

Nobody I know in Christian circles believes this, so far as I can tell its the projection of a tiny cult, which is not uncommon. Yet its DOMINATED the media in recent days. Everybody wants to laugh off the idea that world as we know it is going to end, even as we hear of catastrophic debt with no end in sight, climate oddities manifesting in the floods in the south and refinery shutdowns, and so much more. I have to admit, I love hearing about it to. There's something about a laugh it off 'fear release' that we all need with so many massive problems going on, and that's what this provides.
