Today two people, who were sitting quietly and holding copies of the US Constitution, were removed from the Joint Committee on Finance by police. They were apparently arrested, then "unarrested." The police spoke of the removal being ordered by committee "chairman" which they referred to as "her. The committee is co-chaired by Republican Rep. Robin Vos (a male) and Republican Sen. Roberta Darling. Apparently then police were referring to the latter. Here is video:

1. When I read the title, I thought probably Waukesha, but surprisingly it was not, it was Madison...
Wrong County, right state.

2. And those two are Republican reps
And those two are Republican reps from pretty red districts in WI. Darling is facing recall at the moment. Vos is a nearly-certifiable whack-job. A very scary person. Neither represents the Madison area.

3. This meeting, sadly, took place in Madison regardless of which districts they
represents...

4. Well, in all fairness, the Constitution has not had a place in the government
for years now. Quite frankly, I would not be surprised if it burst into flames when put near any of todays politicians.

5. I Dare You!
"You are arresting me because I am holding a copy of the Constitution in the State Capital"

"Arrest me for Trespassing, I Dare You!"

6. This is chilling. How could holding the Constitution at a public meeting be
cause for explosion? Paul Walker has a nasty grip on Wisconsin. This seems like a gestapo state.
