2. On Ed's show last night...

Ed went on about how if anyone had any doubts that Obama would be hesitant in taking out bin Laden, all they had to do was watch Obama's pledge to do so in an '08 campaign clip. Ed's inferrance was that because Obama had said he'd do something, we should trust that he would. That set my mind whirling. I was recollecting ALL the pledges Obama had made on the campaign trail. I mean..... imagine if he'd have picketed in Madison. imagine if our personal communications were no longer viewed by someone we don't know. Imagine what we might have if we'd had a champion for universal health care instead of insurance subsidizing! Well, I'm sorry if I didn't just assume that Obama would do in Osama. But if we were supposed to rely on the promises made prior to November of '08......
