Ann Coulter tells O’Reilly: Radiation is ‘good for you’

* Posted on 03.18.11
* By David Edwards

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter joined Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly Thursday night to discuss her new piece titled “A Glowing Report on Radiation.”

“At some level–much higher than the minimums set by the U.S. government–radiation is good for you,” she told O’Reilly.

This video is from Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor, broadcast March 17, 2011.

2. fine.
find a burlap sack and throw it over her head, bind it with duct tape and drop her off on top of the Fukishima Daiichi reactor #3 and let her absorb all that radiation that's so good for her.

3. hmm...
Let's send Coulter over to the Fukushima reactor, and let her "bask in the glow."

What a disgusting discussion from two of the right-wing's 'brightest' sociopaths.

4. oh, is coultergeist saying something outrageous to get attention again? /yawn
that's hardly news.

I, reluctantly, read her article to see if she bothered to mention that there are different types of radiation. I'm no expert, but at least I know the names of the most basic classifications - Alpha, Beta, and Gamma.
http://www.hps.org/publicinformation/ate/faqs/radiation.html

The amount of damage radiation can do depends very much on what type it is. That Coulter doesn't even bother to mention that basic fact shows that she's not serious. She's just trolling for attention, as usual.

but I assume she's NOT talking about radiation therapy to treat tumors. Actually, radiation exposure might explain her Adams apple.

8. The far right in this country is
in love with nuclear power. This little O'Reilly segment is just public sentiment damage control after the Japanese earthquake. The far right must be all lined up to reap the rewards of the proposed new nuclear power plants. Does anyone know anything about these 'behind the scene' actors?

These power plants will be built. You can bet on it. The media will be repeating Coulter's allegations before too long. They will be showing happy Japanese children playing contaminated earth.

11. Just like Phelps.
Nobody heard from her for a nice long span of time. Now what could she do to make headlines and get back in the game? God Hates Fags to Thank God for IEDs. Ann needed a new headline.

These people are so mean and ill intentioned that they should never be given press, ever.

Gee, radiation can possibly prevent/cure cancer? This is new?

IT'S CALLED RADIATION THERAPY, you blond moron. It's one of the treatments for cancer.

That doesn't mean standing next to a nuclear plant that is melting down will prevent tumors. Idiot.

21. That was absolutely hilarious.
When Billo says "Now, we have to be responsible" and Coulter counters that,to paraphrase, "we can't conclusively prove that people at Hiroshima died of radiation" and "correlation not causation," I just about lost it.

Annie likes radiation because every time she goes to the hospital to get radiation treatment for her goiter (Adam's Apple), the technicians tell her "this is good for you!"

25. Causation
Edited on Fri Mar-18-11 01:17 PM by bongbong
She is confused about what caused the positive results that she attributes to radiation. A common mistake for small children, like thinking that their waking up caused the sun to rise.

Annie's understanding of causation is limited to "If I say ridiculous lies and spew hatred, it will cause my books to sell, which will cause me to get rich."

People are going to think this assblight is right. Asshole is too nice a word, I need mine, I don't need her,
I don't need an assblight. She is an assblight.

Japan is moving people, asking them not to return for a year.

Coulter thinks it's healthy. send her there, in a bikini!!

(If that happens ---- Eyes closed, mine.)

This is irresponsible talk. It needs more attention.
