Great, Glenn Beckism has come to DU just spoken in a more proper voice. This thing is littered with all kinds of stuff from Glenn video's a week or two ago, including the Pew poll painting Egyptians as radicals supporting stoning of women.

Just because someone says things better with a wider vocabulary doesn't make things so. Listen to what's actually being said. Anti-islam hysteria at work here.

But there is something strange about this video. The voice sounds like the kind of creepy voice used in propaganda. Who really sponsored this video? I wonder who is responsible for this.

I have no doubt that Islamist fanatics want to hijack all popular movements all over the Islamic world.

But then, American fundamentalists do the same. Think about the anti-abortion crowd and the headway they have made in many parts of the US.

Then there is the religion in the schools movement. To what extent they are behind the move toward charters schools is hard to say.

The moment I saw Tahrir Square I just KNEW: It was free at last, free at last, two weeks of Woodstock and we're free at last. These people really understand democracy. They used soda bottle plastic to create homemade Kevlar under their shirts against rubber bullets and batons. They're FREE now! They have democracy now! Religious radicalism is the FURTHEST thing from their minds! Just like they were screaming RIGHT off in Tahrir Square their liberal secular Muslim chants! Their intentions are entirely secular and democratic! You know how I KNOW this??? Because. They have: Soda bottles. Instant democracy! Instant liberalism! Yippee! Hooray for the Islamists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, take Gadaffi Duck. He's a total monster. The other day he was ranting and raving on Libyan TV against the people with "turbans and beards" and warning that the people who take over after him will be staging terror attacks against Europe etc. But who could possibly be worse than a skunk like Gadaffi who hasn't perpetrated much terror since his house got bombed years ago. Could the Islamists who come after him be any worse? IMPOSSERUS! Why not let the Islamists have their turn at bat, huh? Could that be so bad? All these leaders being deposed are CORRUPT! What could POSSIBLY be worse than that??? They had their hand in the cooker jar! Like, that NEVER happens in the United States! So let's send in our naval forces and planes and military advisors into Libya and teach them how to be INDEPENDENT. Let's BLAST those suckers because Americans always know what we're doing! Just like we did in Iraq! And after Sunni Saddam was deposed, a counterweight to Shiite Iran, Iraq, whose population is predominantly Shiite, is now aligning itself increasingly with Iran. Most of the Shiites in the region are backing the rebel movements and turning toward Iran. Because: The Islamists are only trying to stop corruption. And eat cookies. Nothing more. It's freedom! It's peace in our time!!!!!!!!!!!

If everyone who is against the Islamists doesn't SHUT up, this whole thing is gonna be shot. People told Gandhi that he had to get with it because "India is on the move!" Gandhi replied: "But in what direction?" But what did HE know? Sheesh! Who CARES where the revolution is headed just so long as everyone is in the street!

Mohammed ElBaradei declared that Egypt's peace treaty with Israel was over. A leader of Egypt's youth movement that was part of the revolt said the same thing and called for cutting off Egyptian gas sales to Israel. And Yusuf Qarradawi, a radical leader of the Muslim Brotherhood whom Mubarak had banned was allowed back into the country and gave a speech in Tahrir Square that was broadcast on national Egyptian television saying the same thing, that the treaty is over.

The Anti-Defamation League has charged that Qaradawi is a radical Muslim Brotherhood ideologue based in Qatar who through his speeches and writings supports terrorist groups including Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah. He has met with leaders of terrorist organizations in Damascus, including Khaled Meshaal and Musa Abu Marzuq from Hamas, Ahmed Jibril from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), and Ramadan Abdullah Shallah from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). Qaradawi has garnered worldwide appeal through a wide network of associations and by making use of various media outlets. He has repeatedly justified suicide bombings against Israelis.

Qaradawi was back in Cairo following the fall of Mubarak, giving a speech on Friday night, February 17, 2011, in Tahrir Square, broadcast on national Egyptian state television, calling for scrapping Egypt's 1979 peace treaty with Israel and for the Egyptian people to go out, march to and conquer Al Aqsa - the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, even though it is already controlled by Muslim clerics there.

On the Arabic satellite TV channel Al-Jazeera on January 28, 2009, Qaradawi told his audience, "I will shoot Allah's enemies, the Jews, and they will throw a bomb at me, and thus I will seal my life with martyrdom." Two days later, Qaradawi gave another speech that also aired on Al-Jazeera, where he claimed that Adolf Hitler was sent by Allah to punish the Jews. In another sermon on January 9, 2009, Qaradawi incited violence against the Jews. "Oh Allah," Qaradawi said, "Take this oppressive, Jewish, Zionist band of people…do not spare a single one of them. Oh Allah, count their numbers, and kill them, down to the very last one."

30% of Egypt backs the Muslim Brotherhood, which after promising to remain out of politics just announced that that was then, this is now, now they are going to enter politics and run their party in elections.

Hitler was elected Chancellor of Germany with only 32% of the vote.

But pay no attention to ANY of this. The Muslim Brotherhood are innocent little pussy cats pining for democracy and liberalism. And secularism! And peace! Who could POSSIBLY be against the Islamic radicals! They're the good guys!

And how dare the Anti-Defamation League criticize the Muslim Brotherhood! The nerve!
