With the GOP's refusal to work with President Obama on a FY 2012 budget, a government shutdown is now looming. If this were to happen, millions of public-sector AND private sector employees could lose their jobs. The Republican response: SO BE IT.

Do you get the feeling things are coming to a head finally? And if Rachel Maddow is correct about just how incompetent Boehner is, he might not be able to keep the 'tea party' crowd in line well enough to prevent a government shut down even if he wants to. Finally the GOP may have to pay, in full measure, the price of ginning up the idiots.
