Watching this trailer, and thinking, "this might ... be a good movie." (not to be confused with "approving of Objectivism")

Depends in large part on whether they edit the movie better than Rand edited her book :-)

I'm not exactly an AS scholar (thank heavens), but this looks to be cleaving a little too closely to the book? Railrodas, steel companies? The costumes and set design make it look like it's supposed to be set "today", but everything else about it might as well be a period piece. No adapting or restyling to better fit the current day.

It almost makes me want to see what sort of phones they'll use.

I can't imagine anyone turning Rand's fecal matter into a watchable film, unless it's so bad it works as camp. This one might fall into that category.
