9. Someone asked about 13 yesterday.
Edited on Thu Feb-10-11 05:36 PM by RandomThoughts
I posted that comment about that.

I posted a clip from star trek that mentioned one of Kirk's servant not having a heart, (although he really did)

Then someone replied by posting Cheney because he had a heart operation. That is material, and not about the comment about Spock the servant without heart, that did have a heart, but people didn't see it since it was in a different place.

Without the heart are those without 2nd defense yet, and make some mistakes, but also can do some good, like everyone else.

Many groups moving the same direction.

Although it could be about Cheney also, it is not about Cheney only.

at that conference. I was wondering if he'd had a heart transplant. Do you think they could keep something like that secret? I would think that a lot of people would be very angry that he could move himself to the top of the list.

This was an unexpected glimpse into the mind of a despot.

To see that war criminal laughing it up knowing he has immunity bestowed on him by not only his Republican peers, but all the bought out Democrats as well, including the President. And I'm sure, like all psychopaths, he actually believes he did no wrong. If he was confronted by someone who said "I hope you enjoy all your blood money Halliburton profits" he's just wink and smile and say "thanks!"

76. 'Du Hast' is only relavent as a play on word
The lyrics (where it makes sense, grammatically) are ambiguous.
It could be interpreted as you translated, which, in German, is 'Du Haßt'
Or could be interpreted as 'You have', since one of the lines in the song is "Du hast mich gefragt' translating to 'You have asked me'.

Sorry if I come across in any negative way, but Americans (at least, those that talk about this song to me, since I'm German) don't know that there is a subtle difference between 'Du hast' and 'Du haßt', and I'm simply trying to point that out.

Fucking twits. That USA chant started (to my knowledge) in the 80s when crowds at professional wrestling events would chant "USA" to taunt the "Russian" wrestlers. This practice was carried on by Homer Simpson and adopted by morons who vote Republican. What a proud history.

27. Paul Supporters Hijack Cheney-Rumsfeld Reunion

Dick Cheney just popped up here at CPAC to introduce his old pal and Bush administration colleague Donald Rumsfeld. Fans of Ron Paul turned what should have been a friendly moment before an audience of fellow conservatives into a screaming match and protest action that resembled what a Cheney-Rumsfeld hug at the Netroots Nation convention might look like.

Rumsfeld is being given CPAC's "Defender Of The Constitution" award, a concept that apparently rankled Paul supporters in the crowd. Many of them got up and walked out en masse at the mention of Rumsfeld, though some stayed behind in the conference hall to heckle the architects of the invasion of Iraq.

49. Good for them. We should join them on issues like this where
we agree. As has happened in Egypt, people have set aside other differences to focus on the removal of the dictator and his regime.

Divided we fall. Paul's opinions on the wars and the war criminals' violations of the constitution is something everyone can agree on. I would love to see a huge crowd show up at every event these thugs attend to let them know that they are being judged, by the people, if not by our lawless government.

57. True.
I remember, and it was not all that long ago, as recent as the Clinton and at least some of the Bush years, that a serving or former President or Vice President could stand and speak without being interrupted by being called a liar or a war criminal in the middle of the speech. There may have been folks picketing out front or nearby with that message, but there was sufficient civility to allow them to speak. This is another of the wonderful changes George W. Bush brought to the country.

Aren't conservatives just a lovely group of people? (sarcasm)

61. Patently evil
I first wanted to quote Ted Rall who wrote a piece about this POS years ago. He started it with this sentence -
"Dick Cheney is a breathtakingly corrupt politician." I couldn't agree more. Words pretty much fail me about this ex-VICE President. The disgrace and shame he has brought on our country and his complete lack of regret or sense of responsibility for what he did just boggles the mind. Also, remember that 250 MILLION dollars was offered up on his behalf to the Nigerian government so that they wouldn't prosecute him for fraud charges in connection with his days at Halliburton. Cheney and his neo-con cronies were behind the throne of the smirky chimp and we will be paying for their massive crimes for a very long time.

69. Bless the soul who planned to go, endured
The unidentified (so far?...anyone know who this was?) teller of truth is my hero...one of many this week since I consider so many hundreds of thousands of Egyptians heroes.

74. Just one more reminder of why I DETEST Republicans
They are pathetic, stupid, SHEEP. No better than the Nazis. The way they just cheer that man and to give him a "Defender of the Constitution" award. God, what stupid, little shitheads they are.

81. I don't believe so...
Of course, that could still happen later when he gets back home. Or he could be served an FBI-signed 'National Security Letter' (read: trumped up writ/search warrant) via the unConstitutional USA PATRIOT ACT. Brought to you courtesy of the Letters (R) and (D).

79. I can't get past the the wild applause for that scum
How many sick bastards must there be for a room full of people to enthusiastically applaud and scream for a man who engineered a soft coup, metaphorically burned the constitution, engineered an unjustified war that enriched his bank accounts at the cost of thousands upon thousands of lives, and LITERALLY committed the treasonous act of outing a CIA officer engaged in interdicting the international movement of WMD against this nation.

The most sickening aspect of this is these people to a person, consider themselves patriots.

That's the only thing they could come up with to cheer him? Pretty lame.
