is like so many Americans, who claim that "knowing God" is what makes us great.

It's unfortunate, but that's probably why so many bow down to the Reagan mythology.

This was in 1983? He was thinking it was 1963!!! He was 20 years out of date.

The "evil empire" mentality, about as outdated in 1983 as we think the religious right should be today, but, unfortunately, the religious right has become more and more "evil" and even larger in the last 28 years. My opinions only.
