1. I agree that Obama is wise to watch and decide what to do as the events develop

But, I do not think that the US should become linked in anyone's mind to support of Suleiman. Suleiman was Mubarak's intelligence chief and henchman as I understand it.

The US should not support yet another strong man in Egypt. Why should we insist on peaceful change in our own country but support repressive leadership in other countries? What right have we to support cruel dictatorships in other parts of the world? We would not accept that here. We are constantly vigilant to defend our rights in the US.

Terrorism does not grow in peach orchards. Terrorism grows out of misery and the mental illness that is caused by abuse.
