It is amazing, isn't it.? I can't get thru it all because it makes my brain hurt, but Beck should be used in psych classes and any curricula exploring propaganda and manipulation. He's blatantly text book. So awful and obvious, it's a wonder it works on anyone.

The profound repeated catch phrases, like an Evangelical, the telling you how YOU feel and what YOU are doing. I love how he plays to the stupid and ignorant, telling them they can't figure it out, not because they are stupid, but because the whole world is secretly depriving them of the info they need. But he will inform you.... and then he just goes off. Notice how all Arab countries, Iran, Turkey, Iraq, Egypt.... they're all the same. And somehow they're all also part of the Weather Underground(!) and the flotilla incident (which was all planned, of course) Never have so many buzz words been forced together to create a paranoid scenario. It's Biblical! He's preaching.... fear.

There should be a college course on RW propaganda today. They are using all the classic ploys. The TV could be your textbook. You could assign nightly watching to analyze. C'mon, you teachers out there!

While some may buy into Beck being the author of his own insanity and manipulation, one considers who is behind the curtain. I would consider this the perspective of Faux Noise itself. The intent of it, and its owners, appears to be about manufacturing something with whatever political/social profit that will provide. The negative impact and ramifications are a part of the equation.

Opinions and beliefs presented as earth-shaking revelations without counterpoints or inherit rebuttals. People who spend more time investigating issues like this would not find Beck's paranoid, incitement screeds credible. The difference here is between "free speech" and paid for, production speech.
