She probably has a strategy figured out that marriage equality is a done deal and she has little to lose -no threat to structures embedded within our government.

10. Marriage equality will be a reality one day in the USA

It is inevitable, like woman's voting rights once were.

But jeez it takes such a long painful rancorous time there. Every other western democracy has gay marriage as legal now (if not all, most), it will happen in the USA one day when new generations grow up and common sense triumphs over superstition and bigotry.

I think the same is true of a universal health care for all, as it is in other western democracies.
It takes such an inordinate long time to wade through the decades of established bull shit. Such a waste of energy ..... for both sides.
