More thuggery from the DC cops. Watch them drag the vets off the wall and across the concrete! Bastards.

2. Recommend! This is supporting the troops? Vets are disposable?

3. in all fairness...
the vets did actually jump over the wall to be arrested. i was there. also, no one was pepper sprayed until some started throwing their protest signs at the cops. i thought the police generally handled the situation pretty well, all things considered.

5. Did you watch the video?
I see cops grabbing vets and pulling them over the wall. I also see cops dragging vets across concrete. That is completely over the top. But the major issue here is that our capitol was blocked; the people were refused access to our government. That is just completely wrong.

6. i watched the video, but i also saw it in person.
the vets were climbing over the wall with the intention of getting arrested. the people who were dragged were people who lay down and refused to walk. no, we should not have been denied access to the capital, but i dont believe that the police in this situation were acting in an outrageous fashion. they were unfortunately doing their jobs. i saw no one being intimidated.

everyone left the permitted route that the march was supposed to take. the whole thing i believe was illegal at that point, and they could have arrested far more people. the vast majority of people who were arrested were the ones who were climbing over the wall with the intention of being arrested.

8. Why was the wall there in the first place?
I applaud all who demand access to their government. They are braver than I am.

11. Only if life was like the movies. The part in V for Vendetta...
where everyone just went right through the police lines. That part makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Of course the police didn't beat or do anything to them in the movie, its nice to dream though.
