The reason is obvious!

Capital flight is a terminal problem. So is the destruction of tangible capital investment in the manufacturing sector. Without tariff restrictions and higher marginal rates of taxation on wealth and corporations, without real regulations on Wall Street, we're going down. I just read a good projection on bond interest rates, projecting a further serious economic collapse in 2014 when the Fed can no longer monetize the debt below 4.5 percent. So much of the government budget will be dedicated to debt service, there will be a complete breakdown of the economy.
