.... I thought that the England that the Pilgrims left was a monarchy but now
I find out it was a socialist country :wow:

We have a crop of republicans who just make shit up to fit their talking points.

James the 1st of England aka Karl Marx

16. “Grandpa.... Please do tell me that story again about
the time President Jesus enacted the Indian Removal Act of 1830 to keep all the Native people safe from the evil Socialist alien invaders who took over all the land east of the Mississippi River."

4. The worst thing is....
... that this is not ignorance of history, but willful and deliberate untruth.

So typically (R).

Unforgiveable.

19. Well that was how we got the Thanks Giving tradition, a big lie to cover up the fact that the
pilgrims raided native American villages for food, but like all American history when the fact vs the myth print the myth. Anyone up for a mid night ride with PR? Or how about GW and the cherry tree? Or how about honest Abe who was drug kicking and screaming to the presidency? Or how honest Abe lived in a log cabin and did his book learning by candle light, just like 1000's of others who lived during the same time period. Or how cowboys wore 6 guns strapped to their leg while leaving out the fact that the majority of cowboys were brown people and if they could afford to own a hand gun it often was rendered useless by rust. Truly amazing how much myth is in US history, anyone up for a little custard bought at the Last Stand at the Little Big Horn?

12. "...a beautiful story..." he says... ???
unfortunately this IS their story... they have chosen to accept for their own, a version that is simple and distorted but it suits their agenda.
