2. I have complicated feelings about Wendell Potter

Here's a guy who participated in the discrediting of Michael Moore, both personally and professionally, and up until mid-2008, profited immensely by developing strategies to keep good, affordable health care out of the hands of millions of Americans. Now he's flipped, he's on his book tours, and describes himself on his website as a "sought after speaker" who is taking "inquiries" for speaking engagements.

Don't get me wrong. I'm glad he's flipped from the Dark Side. The insight he's offering now is invaluable. I'm just not entirely comfortable with a man who seems to have it both ways: He's enjoying a very comfortable retirement that was built on selling lies to the American public while at the same time basking in the limelight as a self-described "watchdog."
