We have just two more hours to raise the last $400 to be able to go shoot the 2010 Ohio elections! Please make a small contribution and pass this on: http://kck.st/cAOSkM

The cost of running for office makes candidates beg, borrow, and steal. And now, the Supreme Court has declared in Citizens United that corporations have the same rights as people to spend on elections—but without any of the limits. When big businesses are pouring money into influencing our leaders, how can Americans still afford a voice in democracy?

PAY 2 PLAY explores the under-handed dealings of Citizens United, while illustrating the cycle of how campaign costs breed corruption. What’s more, it shows how to take back our election process and hold corporations accountable.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are in the home stretch of a years-long journey, and we need to go shoot some investigative pieces that will make this documentary more than just an entertaining essay film for the people, but a film that carries the kind of explosive first-hand footage exposing revelatory ties of money and power. It's one thing for "The Cove" to tell you about what happens to dolphins. It's another thing to go all in and be the one to document it firsthand for the world to see.

Our blog at www.Pay2Play.tv chronicles the growing debate over election reform, documenting both the ramifications of the Citizens United decision as well as the efforts to take this opportunity to fight corporatized elections through legislation, court battles, or activism. As our film is released, this site will grow to be a larger platform to call out corporate candidates, spread news that won't be found in corporate media, and empower Americans to take part in the political process free of the massive media buys.
