1. Interesting site.

Several stories out now that DOJ and other government agencies are investigating the issue.
Unfortunately, that does not fill me with good cheer.
I cannot remember the last time DOJ issued any finding that was favorable to to us "little people".
I am certain that Dodd's upcoming hearing will be a whitewash. He is a lame duck, and highly obligated to the banking interests.

But I'm left wondering why there's not more reaction to these reports on DU. It may be a little early in the game for monster threads, which are apparently reserved for 'Isn't Obama a really nice guy who has a lot on his plate?' or 'Aren't those teabaggers just awful?'

The class-action lawsuit about MBS's is an incredibly important story which, if it isn't fitted with Chicago brand cement shoes, will echo for years to come.

7. I know people in the Ft. Myers area (very high foreclosures)

and there are houses going for $30K. They said some are being foreclosed before the people even realize it. Some aren't even behind, so there has to be mass confusion in those banks. How do they balance their books at the end of the day?
