On the interviewee's website, there's not a word about his experiences or aims. Certainly, the RT host didn't ask him. Sifting through The Economic Collapse blog yields lots of sorta-documented bad news, but little in the way of solutions beyond 'buy precious metals and basic survival tools.'

The bigger problem behind the highly likely implosion of the US is that the awareness required for cooperation and survival has been stripped away like so many other things. Instead of cutting against the feudal scheme that the wealthy and corporations crave, we get a pseudo-hardline stance that will only worsen the problems that start cropping up.

Be very careful about drawing conclusions from this sort of interview. What form "survival" takes is just as important as the concept itself.

Once, you could take city (streetcar) trains from New York city to Florida, or to New Orleans by transferring from system to system! Then the oil/gas industry plotted to destroy mass transit. In 1880, hemp (pot/marajuanna) was 3rd largest cash crop in US- but the textile/drug/alcohol biz changed that, darn right! In other words, a systemic defrauding of the people has been the ruling elite's big secret since the Revolution of 1776 (which inspired the French Revolution, which the pig has since crushed forever with the collapse of the USSR in 1991!)...if the people knew the truth, they'd sicken at the waste necessary for the reactionary right to keep on going and to stay in power. And the Rightwing today controls the whole world (alciada is rightwing, most international drug trafficking is by rightwingers- indeed, the porn indiustry is reactionary rightwing for most part) ... it's not so much that we're corrupt, it's that we're so fricking dishonest about known facts that 'corruption' is natural, like fleas on a mangy dog! (ifor example, columbus DID NOT discover america; there were basque fishing fleets here long before 1492! It's in the record! But some racist scum in USA decided 150 years ago or so that columbus was a nice old white guy 'explorer' and the 'big lie' was jammed into the history book regardless. Actually, columbus was a grotesque child rapist)
