Kindra Arnesen Suffering Health Problems From Life In Southern Louisiana

"David, Kindra and their neighbors have been there from Day 1. And still the onslaught continues. Every day, the oil comes in with the tide. It spreads up into the marsh grass, coating it. Then heated by the sun, it melts and drips back down into the marsh. At night, they still spray their toxic dispersants. No, things are not OK in Plaquemine's Parish. And they won't be for a very long time.

In this recent video, Kindra gives us the latest on public health (or the lack of it) in the Gulf. Kindra and her friends Joanie and Vicky of the Coastal Heritage Society of Louisiana are running ongoing fund drives for Gulf families. Imagine you're a Gulf fisherman and your entire livelihood is gone. Many of these families have had no income since April. Now, they're faced with having their electricity turned off, and making decisions as to whether they should be food or medicine for their kids."

1. "They're treating us for something we don't have and not treating what we do have."

Arnesen discussed with PGI about the doctors' refusal to properly diagnose and treat her or any of the people she knows.

"The doctors don't want to get involved," she said.

"Do no harm? They are doing harm!" They are not testing, "So how can they diagnose or treat?

"They're treating us for something we don't have and not treating what we do have."

Arnesen explained that last week when she went to get medical treatment for her worsening condition including her pronounced sores, the doctor did not do an examination. Instead, the doctor just reached for her paperwork as soon as Arnesen walked in; automatically diagnosed "scabies;" and said she was "depressed." (See Arnesen's skin condition in the video below.)

"Depressed?! I'm not depressed!" she said, explaining that she has a beautiful family, owns two homes, owns their vehicles and is not in the financially broken state of many people in her area.

Arnesen told PGI, "They're still spraying us!

"They're gassing us."

treatment. Most people, when harmed by chemicals, will find that doctors are well versed in how to "dispose" of the patient. Myself having been poisoned by pesticides, I went to several doctors and they would only prescribe antidepressants.
A doctor who does not play by the rules will find themselves in trouble with their insurance companies, their medical boards and other doctors. Besides that, they do not know what to do.

Only alternative doctors are courageous enough to treat and care for people sick from environmental causes.
These people need to get out of the area into a clean environment and begin to rebuild their bodies which have been depleted of nutrients and more. Unfortunately those without money are out of luck.

3. It's hard seeing those who have been keeping everyone informed

start getting sick. I think Kindra sent her kids out of harm's way. Hard to pick up and leave a place you lived all your life . But they may not have a choice if conditions continue to deteriorate. Sad that no one seems to care.

4. Kindra, you need to get the hell out of there!

I know you love that area but shit, your mental capacity is suffering from the chemicals. Your speech seems as if you have been huffing paint. I have scene the earlier videos of you and you were well versed and intelligent. From this video it is quite obvious that the chemicals are not only taking a toll on your body, but also your brain. Continue to stay and you will be a martyr.

5. Alarming to see these folks getting sick

I don't see how people can deny their conditions are related to the spill. Every one of the people who have been making videos all summer in their areas have gotten sick or tested for high levels of toxins.
