IMO, these statements from people who would be affected by plans such as privatization, are much more effective than a behind-the-scenes narrator doing a voice-over.

At any rate, this is the kind of fight that we need from our Democratic candidates!

4. I would like to hear the Democratic Party as a whole make
"Hands Off Social Security" one of their main issues for November, but I am not seeing that so far. The Progressive Caucus has come forward asking for support to demand that the Party promise there will be no cuts to SS or raising of the retirement age.

If they do not stand up before November, this will hurt them badly.
