Last week blowhard pundit Rush Limbaugh called non-profit organization employees "lazy idiots" and "rapists in terms of finance and economy" that think of themselves as "good people." Robert Egger, the founder and president of DC Central Kitchen — the one that chef José Andrés has been volunteering at for 17 years — responded yesterday on YouTube.

In the video, Egger talks about different non-profits out there that do genuine good, including war memorials, houses of worship, and museums. He also talks about his own organization — DC Central Kitchen — that recycles food, distributes meals to more than 100 local agencies, and offers culinary job training that produces 4,500 meals a day and has close to 100% job placement. It's worth watching until the end, it won't disappoint.

It is starting to sound like these rich fat assaholics hate everything that isn't rich and fat like them. A simple hate fest if you ask me.

Also, what is with the essentially free money (.75% interest rate) that the federal reserve lends out to huge financial institutions? WTF is with that? Why isn't the federal reserve bank mandated to help Main Street as well?

Subject to review and determination by the Board of Governors, the directors of the Federal Reserve Banks of Boston, Cleveland, Richmond, Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas, and San Francisco had voted on May 13, 2010, and the directors of the Federal Reserve Banks of New York, Philadelphia, and Atlanta had voted on May 20 to reestablish the existing rate for discounts and advances (3/4 percent) under the primary credit program (primary credit rate). The directors of the Federal Reserve Banks of St. Louis and Kansas City had voted on May 13 to establish a rate of 1 percent (an increase from 3/4 percent).

At its meeting on April 26, the Board had taken no action on requests by the Federal Reserve Banks of St. Louis, Kansas City, and Dallas to increase the primary credit rate from 3/4 percent to 1 percent.

At today's meeting, no sentiment was expressed in favor of considering the primary credit rate, and the existing rate was maintained.

telling them that I so wanted to post a link on our local party's website to their video and was going to until the very end. Damn!!

Requested them to do another version with maybe a fade to black at the end.

8. I've always said Limbaugh isn't smart enough to know when to take a crap without a memo

from his conservative warlords that tell him EVERYTHING to say on the program.

He just spews his crap daily just to inflame the base. He doesn't think about whether his BS du jour is consistent with what he said last month, last week, last hour, or 10 minutes ago. And his knuckledragging, toothless, mouth-breathing base isn't smart enough to figure out that he's often attacking them or things they rely on.

I mean, just look at the guy and his credentials. He spends his entire show attacking other peoples' character when he's a drug addict who's on his FOURTH marriage which is destined for failure just like the first three. In addition, he was nabbed carrying Viagra during a recent trip to the Dominican Republic which violated his drug probation. Since there was no wife accompanying him on the trip, it's safe to assume he was planning to solicit prostitutes during the trip. He tried to say he was carrying the Viagra for someone else on the trip. Yeah! You're on probation for drug violations and you'll jeopardize yourself by doing this? I guess when you're used to regularly BSing your base on the radio, you eventually assume that everyone buys your BS when you're not in your EIB bubble.
