before spouting shit about what they think it is. The evil gubmint didn't stop her from spewing racial slurs on the radio. Though had she said the word "fuck" they would've. And I'm sure she's fine with that.

This woman clearly doesn't understand the First Amendment. She can say whatever she wants, and she has. The rest of us can protest her all we want and go after her sponsors all we want. King keeps making that point...then she says he is missing the point. But Laura is missing the point, as usual. She can say what she wants (mostly) and she doesn't have to worry about going to jail. But her idea of the first amendment is she can say whatever she wants and the rest of us just shut up and take it. I can't stand her.

Also, she just loves to tell everyone she apologized without being told to...she even makes her ability to apologize sound self-righteous.

The First Amendment guarentees the right to speak. It does not guarentee the right to an audience.

Besides, her 1st amendment rights seem perfectly intact to me. She said what she wanted to on the air. No one stopped her from saying the very words she wanted to say. She can say them again if she wishes.


And she can live with the consequences of saying whatever she thinks or wants.


The 1st social rule anyone learns (usually as an early teenager or before) is that what you say has consequences so you'd better THINK before you say anything. Especially on controversial subjects like race and religion because...guess what!... not everyone thinks exactly the same way you do. But even after all that social and personal consideration and THINKING, you can STILL say whatever you want.

Exactly why a person who talks for friggin' living wouldn't be aware of this I don't know. I don't believe they are not aware of it so Dr. Laura is lying and knowingly playing the victim.

Larry drives me nuts because there's not a supernatural, paranormal pile of BS he won't seriously have an interview about. Why waste everybody's time like that????
