for those who watch it, be sure to watch until end. . The Princeton professor points out the grotesque timing of this episode..happening during Ramadan, and in midst of tragic floods in Pakistan. .
As the commentators say, implicitly and explicitly: "What does this episode say about us?" (not good things, for sure)

4. My son just returned from my Whack Wing sister's home

We had this discussion - he is going into the 11th grade and while he understands the meaning of your words above (not "your" words but you know...)
he can't fill the gap between the meaning and then the practice of it. (this was a huge discussion over at my sisters house, of course).

I'm trying to get him to understand - there is a difference between liking something and having the RIGHT to do it. What pisses me off more than my sister's brainwashing is that my son is bi-sexual, my sister is only barely accepting that fact about him (yet she walks on water and I'm the bitch *shakes head*) - something I have always accepted and heck KNEW long before he "came out" about it. He's young, but he'll learn that subjugating Muslims on this issue is no different than the subjugation that goes on against the GLBT community all the time. *sigh*
