When George Bush launched the Iraq War, it was obvious to any observer that we were in that country because they had oil, and our government wanted that oil. But this isn’t the only time that our military has been used to help businesses take control of the natural resources of a country. In fact, it’s happened a lot more than you might think. Mike Papantonio talks about our war addiction, and how US corporations are helping to make these wars self-perpetuating, with David DeGraw, a founding member of the Amped Status blog.

1. Cheney's Halliburton was a corporation going down fast - They lied & invaded Iraq illegally and

Halliburton (KB&R) received billions of no-bid contracts from the federal government and is now a republican donating thriving multi-national corporation that still receives government contracts yet is now based in Dubai (tax shelter).

So many republican corporations like Blackwater, Bechtel, and hundreds of other corporations are making huge profits off the wars, they love wars, their republican owned & republican led CEO corporations are growing and making billions off the wars and the killing & destruction all from our tax dollars....

Not to mention the oil corporations and the profits they are making off Iraqi oil....Hussein threw the oil companies out of his country because the oil corporations were not paying their fair share of taxes for his country's oil, so they killed Hussein and now all five major oil corporations are back in Iraq.

Same with Hugo Chavez, he threw the major oil corporations out of Venezuela because they too were ripping off the Venezuelan people and not paying their fair share of taxes and the CIA has been trying their best to overthrow Chavez - The CIA exist these days ONLY to help corporate imperialism worldwide....again, all the funding is from our tax dollars which just helps helping these fascist republican corporations.
