But, my post was for the more educated who might not realize that this is an ancient religious tradition, and not a schizophrenic episode. It's common in many other faiths too, btw, and I'm curious if a native American shaman or religious Jew were to pray in such a way, as they are sometimes known to, would any of you jump on them as fast as on a fundie preacher?

First, preachers like this get their message out because of people as stupid as you buying into it. Second, did you notice how quickly that guy went from speaking in tongues to english? It is clearly a fabricated language. Third, did you notice that the other guy started speaking in tounges when he was next to the preacher. How convenient that was. Lastly, if this guy is a preacher, why does he go in and out of this speaking in tongues routine? He must be awashed in the spirit only for a few minutes out of the day, right? Why not for the whole day? Why not for the rest of his life?
