Now I could examine the whole business of this gal at the pro marriage rally who appears to have kids by more than one father, (and what with her being hispanic I can infer that she's most likely Catholic and opposes divorce) but I think I'll focus on the two part-black kids, and remind her of what the prevailing attitudes on that were in her parents' and grandparents' day...

NOM is playing this to their advantage and politically speaking ...it is smart lets break it down.

3. Protestors were peaceful but they may have wanted to plant themselves in front of all the white people, because that seemed to be 99% of the audience.
4. NOM will play this up to Latino community and it is pure politics because she may have been the only Latino there.

5. Rude IS rude. Protesting is one thing but purposely pissing off the average tea partier is counter

productive and counter intuitive. I want to get in the face of the ones carrying the hate/racist placards. The ones sitting out in the fringes of the crowds are the ones who are not sold completely on the tea party agenda not being too sure about it, and pushing them closer to the crowd is a bad idea.

Looking at the video, you really don't know if the protesters were standing at the back of the rally with their backs turned toward the speaker before or after this woman and her kids sat down.

The protesters were not being disruptive, they were standing with umbrellas. If this woman finds people standing at a public rally threatening, perhaps she shouldn't go to public rallies.

And this is not a tea party rally. It was a NOM rally against gay marriage.

how do you know who was there first? She could have sat down in that space after the protesters were already there. She makes a claim, but there really is no video proof.

And how is simply standing at a rally "intimidating" anyone?

She is freaked out by what exactly? The protesters aren't even looking at her. As for being "in her space", there is plenty of room between the group and this woman. If they were making any attempt at intimidation they could have moved forward 10 feet.

If she was so frightened, why didn't she move?
She had her kids there, if she was really scared she would have moved just to protect them.
But it is clear that the only thing frightening about these protesters is that they are gay.

She needs treatment for her homophobia.
