I'm driving from Mexico to the Pacific Northwest....and I'll be driving through Texas with an Obama sticker on the back of my truck. I honestly fear for my safety, with those crazy goat-ropers that are loose in that state. I'll drive around AZ...as there are better places to see than that scorched earth.

Our nation is in shambles today. Not sure we are going to pull out of this mess...certainly not in my lifetime.

i think it was the saintly Che (Guevera) who once said "The best lacked all conviction, while the worst were full of passionate intensity!" The mob has always operated on the simple principle summed up in that statement. The reactionary rightwing, aka the 'dingbats-in-heat' depend upon drowning out reason with sheer brute noise (see foxnews, limbah-humbug etc), and they win because, well it's hard to stand up for convictions based upon reason and goodwill when rage is so much more INTOXICATING! The battle is for the future, for the young, whose world mister piggy wants to destroy, for no other reason then that mr pig is a frickin goof. Keep that in mind, and put a rebel flag decal beside your Obama sticker- that'll scare away any rightwing bullyboys, i betcha

All the footage of them seems to be them riding flumes or giant slides. I looked at the link you posted- I see the costumes have been updated a little... Especially the elephant- whose name is now "Snorky" (It was "Snort" back in the olden days- or maybe it was always "Snorky" and they just shortened it to "Snork" so the song would rhyme- you be the judge)
