1. They fail on several points...
They assume all the "felon" votes were for Franken which is just stupid. They also ignore the fact that this race was in Limbo for almost a year with ample time for Coleman to discover irregularities like the one claimed.

2. So Felons only vote for Democrats.
Are these guys serious? Even if the "conservative watch dog group" were correct that 340 or so felons voted and Franken won by 312 that would mean that almost all of those felons would have vote for Franken. The problem is that there are idiots out there that only get their news from one source and have no independant or critical thinking skills that pick up on the inconsistancies in these idiots at Faux news.

5. Well did you know that Bachmann has Stillwater in HER district
and I think another penitentiary as well. So if Franken was elected by felons, she definitely had to be because there are more felons in her district than any other place in Minnesota.

7. Well Ramsey county has filed felony charges
and say the may end up finding more than the study did so I wouldn't call it fake news. However, the points already made are also valid regarding the assumption they'd all vote Democrat.

16. Ramsey county did find out more
They found out that of the 500 so called felons claimed by Minnesota Majority, only 28 were actually felons that broke the law by voting.

Someone should tell the dimwits over a Fox and friends that 28 votes would not overturn the results.

NEVER did this issue come up.

Now Fox wants to go back and have Coleman declared the winner?

The Fox News war on the Democrats is blatantly obvious!

Did Fox News ever cover the disaster that was Florida registration mess 2000? Or Ohio discrepancy in votes and exit polls in 2004?

creating controversy out of thin air... just like they did with ACORN, and Kerry, and Gore.... I could go on but won't...

Franken is doing a good job, that's why they are attacking him. Stay away from small planes Franken, the republicans will try to get rid of you one way or the other. They can't handle politics...

13. Hmmm, maybe this is all true.
After all, the silence from the democrats repudiating this bullshit is deafening. Hey, schmucks, have you not learned that if the rethuglicans tell a lie often enough, it becomes the truth. Oh, I get it, this is not worth responding to.

fighting back isn't wrong.... knowing when and how is the problem. It's almost as if democrats were programmed to look the other way.

14. Exactly.
For the next few months, Fox will refer to Franken as "the Democrat (sic) Rep. who was involved in a SCANDAL involving CONVICTED FELONS and VOTE FRAUD."

And the dittohead 28%ers will nod their heads in agreement.

Shut them down, now.

12. I googled Minnesota law:
Am I eligible to vote?
You are eligible to vote if you:

* will be at least 18-years-old on Election Day
* are a citizen of the United States
* will have resided in Minnesota for 20 days immediately preceding Election Day
* have any felony conviction record discharged, expired, or completed
* are not under court-ordered guardianship where a court has revoked your voting rights
* have not been ruled legally incompetent by a court of law

The relevant point is that you are eligible to vote if you "have any felony conviction record discharged, expired, or completed"

The first thing a real news organization would do is ask what criteria the "conservative watchdog group" did to determine that these voters were ineligible. Fox obviously didn't bother to do that so we leave the story where it is ... sore grapes.

18. Who dreams this stuff up? Or...
Who is a mediocre fiction writer of horror and notably right wing? This is definitely some tea partier's worst nightmare presented as fact. I hope Al responds. These gossip-rag airheads shouldn't be on the air. The GOP in MN tried everything they could throw at the recount process and none of it stuck because every day was witnessed, taped, watched, and accounted for. Al and the AG really didn't deserve the smears. It's just too bad that such imagination is wasted on such shabby endeavors. Cheap thrills is all they sell.
