I don't know how many years it's been that I have sat here trying to figure out what is happening to this country. Everything he said confirmed the traits I described when I ranted against these types. Whether followers or taking charge and expecting sumbissiveness, it appears to be all there. And what a great presentation by Dean. Thanks to all those academicians. This is exciting.

Bullies. I felt I recognized it correctly. While I was listening to Limbaugh one day when a caller sympathetic to his position called in. Limbaugh mistakenly misinterpreted what the caller was getting at. He jumped his ass with both feet in a classic bullying style. After he found the caller's real intentions he calmed down but woe unto callers that disagree with these right wing fucks.

We already knew there was a personality type that would happily goosestep to the flute music of anyone waving a flag and swearing to attack anything they fear and don't understand, to think for them and give them a reason to be hateful and aggressive to those they don't agree with.

We called them Conservatives

A people with the uncanny ability to wear psychological blinders that blocked out the constant blatant raping they set themselves up for by electing people with only thier own best interests at heart and buying into the flimsiest attempts to misdirect any blame onto the all too neccisary "other party" for thier own mistakes/lies/pundering/corruption/greed/incompetance.

14. Scared followers,. with delusions of grandeur = the right wing

The more I learn of these right wing-nuts with their blind following of figureheads the utter lack of questioning authority,. blind faith in the military, and corporate/bankster rulers, the prevalent violent threatening of any opposing view,. the more I see them as scared little children.
We should treat them as such, try to talk them down from there hyperbolic fears and expose them to the reality of sharing and peaceful cooperation,. they need to learn to share like kids in pre-school,. they need to learn not to bully like kids on the school yard,. they need to learn that voluntary cooperation succeeds over 'rugged individualism'. 15. Very enlighting, and really discouraging

We're not getting the country back from these people with our current mindset and non-tactics. I am hoping to live long enough to see us fight back, but am highly doubtful (I am 52). Someone once said it's better to die on your feet then live on your knees. We are on our knees, and I see no signs of anything changing

Who's this "we" that's on their knees?I know few people in that posture.I know many folks that recognize we need fundamental changes and there are lots of things we could do better, but most of them are willing to stand up for their ideas and ideals and work to see those changes.If you're only 52 and already anticipating your demise you're not one of those. Although no one gets out of this world alive some do more with the time allotted them than others.

I have been fighting for about 30 of my 52 years, and I can tell you at this time that we are weak, disengaged, and completely impotent. Please read pp 4-8 of this and ask yourself what real americans have to to thwart it (and its benefactors like Armey and Big Media). then tell me seriously whether we are engaging or submissive.
