The Avatars for Peace made a landing on earth this spring to bring a message learned in their inter-galactic travels! Whether walking in the May Day Parade, anti-war marches or attending the PRIDE festival and other events in Minnesota , the blue beings from another world are greeted everywhere they go by humans who believe that all life is beautiful. The Avatar movie plot is an old one that has repeated throughout history but it reminds us that life is precious and should not be wasted in wars for empire fueled by fear, hate, greed, false pride and blind loyalty. With appreciation to James Cameron for producing the "Avatar' movie, David Rovics for the song "Life is Beautiful" and all the human people with guts to become Avatars for Peace.
