Olbermann pointed out that the repugs are simultaneously campaigning on how terrible Obama's track record is for job creation, and campaigning on 'throw the bums out' of unemployment compensation. So there ARE no jobs, and at the same time, the unemployment issue doesn't need to be dealt with.
Stewart said that the bank bailout should have paid off the debt of the US taxpayers that owed the banks for mortgages and loans. That way, the bank has their money, and the taxpayer is off the hook, since the bailout money came from us, anyway. Instead, tax dollars paid the banks (maybe 3 trillion, if you include what the Fed gave them), and all small debtors are on the hook for what they 'owe'.
We need government by Maddow, Olbermann, and Stewart. It just makes sense.
