14. Interesting indeed. Start with Mr. Hatch.
I want to know if he is naturally this thoughtless, or if his thoughtlessness is drug induced.

17. drug tests for UI recipients?
Right. And how about lie detector tests for legislators on the take? Let's start with the minor prophet of the Utah dunes and continue with Kyl, Cornin, Coburn, Corker, Inhofe, DeMint, McConnell, Grassley, Ensign ... and keep it up with the DLC sellouts to corporate money: Lieberman, Schumer, Lincoln, Nelson, Baucus, Bayh, Dodd, ... So many whores on both sides of the aisle. At least the Republicans are honest about their client's identities.

3. This is the same old same old--red herring thrown out to make
people resent others receiving unemployment.

Same old resentment spreading device as the reason people
are poor is because they are on drugs, alsohol or they are
lazy.

Steady diet from GOP. In other words who wants their
taxes used for such people????

Old as the hills.

4. Money comes in so easy from so many fronts for clowns like Orifice Hatch.
I'd like to know where clowns like Hatch spend THEIR taxpayer-funded wages and benefits.

If the recent news from the Vitters, Craigs and Ensigns are any indication, they're money isn't exactly being spent wisely.

I agree with the earlier post that this is just another ploy to demonize a group that is benefiting from a program.

6. It's too bad.....
that we don't have a system to separate the oxogen thieves ,
and those who desperately need help, IMHO too many people abuse
and use the system, sell or use drugs, and still get a check.
What we need is recipient reform.

the the Rich Fuck'n loot the money out of the economy because they are a bunch of OCD wealth and power HOARDERS, they are mentally ill and out of control. my mother said the problem in the great depression was that there was work but no fuck'n money, not a dime.

the graph shows why.. the Wall Street gambling addicts skim all.. f'n all the cream off the top by bribing politicians big time to let it happen.

9. So far all of you have missed a major observation
That is one sweet, beautiful baby girl. He and his wife are blessed.

Now give him the unemployment the family deserves.

10. Yes. When you're unemployed and diabetic you have to blow your money on drugs or die.

11. Yes, spending my unemployment checks on drugs
Like Lipitor, Enalipril, etc. I had open heart surgery a few years back and now, between my wife and I we take quite a number of drugs. So many, in fact, that the local pharmacist knows us by name. I guess this is just one more way to get rid of us parasites on society.

13. Same here, I believe the ruling elite would like the working poor to just go off and die.
Good thing my local grocery store has generics cheap, but you know I would rather be blowing the paltry amount I get on cocaine or heroin! :eyes:

18. Welcome to DU. Like you and your wife, a lot of our money goes to medical expenses.
Of course, we do spend a lot on "drugs".

I mean I didn't really need the "drugs" that saved my life when I had my second MI. And of course I'll always have to be on "drugs" so that I don't lose more of what little heart muscle I have left. I shouldn't have wasted his precious unemployment benefits to have my sigmoid colon removed before it perforated and killed me either.

I'm sorry that I wasted Orin's money by choosing to live instead of being a good American and sacrificing my life for the corporate good of the GOP.

Oh, by the way Sen. Hatch......... you are beneath contempt but I know that you can't help it since you're a member of the reptilian species known as the Republican Party.

Wow, this was hard to type without getting into the expletive dictionary.

They fail at running the govt correctly, then want to kill the serfs who need help buying bread and water. I hate Repukes.
