It seems a little staged and very pro-legalization...but I'm not complaining! I wonder where this aired though? Obama's drug czar needs to take a look at this though.

3. It really is unbelievable that marijuana is still illegal. The drug war is the crime.

6. I watched all three parts and this is something that needs to be seen by........
..........the general public. Sure, this piece is more or less "pro", but look at all the bullshit that's been printed, filmed and just the plain old propaganda about Cannabis that is not anywhere near accurate. I'm biased I smoke it, but jesusfuckingchrist this is just plain ridiculous and maybe more important nowadays extremely costly on us all.

8. Marijuana legalization
I worked two college summers as a camp counselor in New York state in the mid-sixties. At that time eighteen was the legal drinking age in NY state. States with 21 year-old drinking age that bordered NY often had underage drinkers crossing the line and wiping out in drunken driving accidents. I assume this was a later factor in New York raising their drinking age to conform with most of the rest of the country. By contrast, most of the NY kids that I worked with were very laid back about drinking alcohol. Most had served ( at least beer)at their adult-supervised high school graduation parties. Sneaking to drink alcohol from eighteen to twenty-one was amusing to them. Most parents who allowed their kids to drink and public servers of alcoholic drinks seemed to unspokenly keep a closer watch on those younger drinkers. Europeans youngsters, of course, are raised with a similar attitude. By the same token, making less harmless marijuana a forbidden fruit adds to its allure. Having been there and done that with pot (aka "grass" back in the day) during college and young adulthood, I always believed that by now it would be legal. I haven't smoked "the demon weed" in twenty-five years and have yet to feel any symptoms of withdrawal.
