My thoughts on the mosque at ground zero.

1. I agree the mosque should be allowed to be built there, yet I don't want one to be built there.
I would also like to see Ground Zero to be devoid of religious structures, but I don't this to be enforced by the government.

To make the statement that the 19 terrorists and their twisted beliefs and mainstream Islam have no relationship to each other. In the United States we have freedom of religious expression, and freedom of speech. It applies to all Americans, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientations. We can celebrate the opening of the mosque as an affirmation of the best ideals of this country and it's forefathers. And hopefully that ceremony would also be in honor of the 2800+ that died that day. It could be a day of national healing if done right.
