Senator Hillary Clinton got a firsthand look at the life and work of SEIU member Michelle Estrada yesterday. Clinton worked a late-day shift with Estrada in the medical/surgical unit of a hospital in Henderson, Nevada, then joined Estrada and her family for dinner.

As part of SEIU’s program to ensure presidential candidates better understand workers’ everyday challenges, Sen. Clinton saw firsthand what it means to be a single mom working 12-hour shifts, caring for three children at home and several medical patients at work.

1. Doesn't look as though she was as "hands on" as Edwards who actually bathed and shaved a patient.

She seemed to just "follow'.I did notice her wiping up a patient spill. I want to see Obam's next.Edwqards also took a more difficult shift.I recall his having to be up at something like 3AM! But it could have been a bit later.I liked her dinner with the family .She was good with the kids and dinner didn't look "fancy. It also looked inexpensive! I wonder if Hillary did the dishes or helped prepare it!

There is also a clip from GMA that Andrea Mitchell reported that Hillary helped clear the plates and washed the dishes with the family. Happy now?

I KNEW someone would shit on this.

6. Hey, I didn't shit on this at all! I said I noticed her wipe up!
And I merely"wondered" if she had helped with the dishes as it didn't dsay! Sheesh. And here I was being "nice" and not snarky. Teach me.

4. What a wonderful clip.....
I hope many people see it and find out Hillary has a great personality and is nothing like all the nonsense printed about her.

5. Thanks for this Clip
I'm glad she helped out a little at Michelle's place, but I didn't feel as though HC really walked in Michelle's shoes by following her around. Certainly, Senator Clinton learned a lot by observing, but it reminded me of Bill Richardson's experience of following around a director. If she had helped a nurse's aide today, I would be cheering.

Edwards, Dodd, and Obama get the brownie points for providing direct assisted care for the needy.

7. Good video.
I work in medicine and never stop appreciating the work that nurses do so I'm particularly glad that they chose to emphasis the nursing role.
