Daniel Levy, a former Israeli negotiator in the peace process, says Israel underestimated world reaction to the raid and that America's policy is becoming out of synch with world opinion and is not sustainable.

I wish we could impress the sentiments expressed in this video on the 40%+ of our country who don't care what the rest of the world thinks of us, and don't think it matters.

As to our being Israel's bitch- I've been saying that for years. As an American I find it disgusting the amount of money we dump down those ungrateful bastards year after year- and what do we actually get out of it? In order to help pay for the Bush tax cuts federal aid to states was cut. Have you noticed the highways in your state going to hell over the last 10 years? Have you noticed college tuitions going up? (I was in school during the Bush administration- between 2000 and 2003 my cost per credit doubled) Things like these are the result of decreased federal aid. Wanna bet there was still enough money in the coffers for Israel to get its handout?
