BP pays out 10 billion a year in dividends. Maybe we should seize the assets of BP shareholders to pay for the mess?

1. Yeah, the important thing to worry about is the safety of a virtual metric of an abstract concept
like capital.

Physical entities like nature, and the welfare of untold millions of people and billions of critters is secondary to these people.

Good grief, we truly are not that evolved monkeys at the end of the day. Spending our lives trying to get a shiny piece of metal to play with.
