Actions and words have consequences. In the case of Snuffalopogus's interview, he was reading Paul's LTTEs and other things he had said. Now, Paul wants to deny he said them or they are being taken out of context.

Don't be surprised if Paul's only appearances in the media from now on will be on Faux Snooze, Ingraham, Limpdick, Hannity and the like.

8. I always thought that the "honeymoon period" referred to politicians who had won

the GENERAL election and were in their first weeks/ months in office, not someone who had won a primary.

Newly sworn-in politicians are generally given some amount of leeway from the electorate to get their staffs together and to start moving forward with their actual agenda.

Why would someone just starting a general election campaign be given a "honeymoon"? Rand Paul is too green for the big times. This isn't a tea party rally.
