1. This is EXACTLY what we need to be doing...

The Obama administration has profoundly disappointed progressives, which was only COMPLETELY predictable - they inherited a s**tstorm, the damage wrought by the Bush admin is still not yet completely unveiled, and there is no easy reset button on ANY of it... Healthcare, Wall Street reform, DADT, the environment, the economy, etc. etc. ALL of the needed legislation has to originate with the Congress... and half of the Dems are bought and paid for corporate whores...

SO, keep pushing back on the Obama administration (however, spare me from "there's no difference between Bush and Obama idiocy),
and ELECT BETTER DEMOCRATS. Do something positive, like work your ass off to help Marcy beat the Bush Bluedog, send her money...or go outside join the teabaggers celebrating Timothy McVeigh Day...

This is what progressives need to do RIGHT NOW. And I'm interrupting all Obama-bashing discussions among my Pregressive friends to put that disappointment and anger to some good use.

I'd like to see Bill Maher and Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann feature Marcy on their shows. As a woman, I am so proud of Marcy Winograd. She is a real woman -- a strong woman -- and her voice doesn't squeak. Sarah Palin's voice makes my ears hurt. That's always a bad sign. Marcy uses her voice well. She's a winner, no matter what happens this fall. Marcy Winograd has star quality -- energy that makes her stand out from other politicians.

The idea that I moved from NYC and Jerry Nadler to CA and Jane Harmon has sucked me for the last few years. Now I get to at least try to vote for a real Democratic candidate again!!!
