You decide:
Dishonest or too fucking lazy to read a news article before running his mouth?

1. usually I try to be a little more thoughtful this in my posts, but... FUCK YOU, RUSH...just FUCK YOU
There just apparently is no sewer too deep and poisonous for the Limbaughs of the nation to wallow in.

2. Both, unquestionably. No doubt he's fucking lazy.
But more importantly, sure, he's dishonest. He knows where his lard-dipped bread is coming from. And if he put out a book called "Mein Kampf" tomorrow, his benumbed acolytes would pucker their brows only momentarily before forking over their meager bucks for a copy.

The man, in a rational world, would be acknowledged as a very sophisticated huckster, admirable if only for his opportunistic gall, and otherwise a soulless hedonist bereft of scruples. But his audience eats up this shit like sweetest candy.

And so on and so on...

3. Massey ads run non-stop on WV wingnut stations
practically every commercial break has one. Same goes for stations across the river in Ky.

Rush is being a good little whore for a major backer.

5. This sack-o-crap never gets anything right...
I think he's just smoking crack and whatever pops into head he thinks must be a revelation, divinely inspired and so filled with wisdom it bursts upon the populace and enlightens all.

I have often wondered why he just doesn't burst into flame when he opens his mouth...few people are as despicable as this 300# of crap in a 10# bag. I will bet my life that if the Union was in Massey, the people who perished in that mine would be alive today. And for Blankenship/Massey to turn down rescuers because they were Union is even more despicable, and shows me the depth these assholes can go to.

Have another hit Rush, God called, he wants his talent back.

6. Double standard at play here...
The Union would have to pretty much go on strike to protest the companies lack of regard for mine safety. And I'm sure the bloated bastard would have nothing but praise for that action. Right? No?

12. Even after having it pointed out, Rush sticks by his lie - and EXPANDS it
his new angle is to say that people are wrong for pointing out that the Upper Big Branch mine was nonunion.
He claims that the fact Massey was once forced by a court to rehire 85 union miners is proof.

"The United Mine Workers should have been overseeing their safety," Rush says.

Thing is, the rehired workers went to a different mine - the Horizon mine.

There were no union miners at Upper Big Branch. Period.

And, even if he was right and there were some present, there was no union contract. Which means the UMWA would have zero power of oversight.

MMFA has the video - no commentary yet, though

15. The outright lying of these people continues to blow my mind!
Not just the lying, but the lack of anyone in the supposed liberal leaning mainstream media never calling them on it. The only "news show" that consistently does is.....Comedy Central's, The Daily Show.
