I watched and I agree completely with Hobbs. Obama is a good guy and he has a bright future, but he doesn't have near the experience of Clinton (and frankly, it shows).
Somewhat interesting anecdote: Back when Edwards was running for President in the 2004 primaries he came to my town, and since I was political director for a group he wanted an endorsement from his people called and asked if I would meet with him. Of course I said sure. When I arrived at the hotel where they had set up shop I had to wait for him for a few minutes and was chatting with one of his campaign directors.
I voiced my concerns that maybe he didn't have enough experience for the job and she said, "By the time he takes office John will have as much experience as Bush did when he became president."
I kind of chuckled and said, "You might want to come up with a different argument for that obejction -- I don't think it's going to win too many democrats to your side in the primary." She laughed and agreed that maybe they'd better work on that.
By the way, John Edwards is a charming, charasmatic, capable guy. His wife, even more so. But most of you know that. Never met Hilary, but she seems a little too conservative for me. Obama, just won't win in a general election. Not enough experience. He'll make a Dean like gaffe, or worse, a Kerry like one (and yeah, for Kerry, there wasn't really the experience excuse - he's just a bad politician).
