Summary: Cenk decided to take some calls on the show yesterday, and the first caller was a Sarah Palin defender. Needless to say the result was interesting, especially since Cenk has been openly critical of the Obama Administration (which came up). 13. Before he took calls that day, I suggested that we do a weekly segment taking conservative calls.

The fact that we randomly got one (the first caller) is great, and shows me such a segment has plenty of potential. Not sure it it'll be weekly or just conservative callers though, so we'll see.

Furthermore, there's a whole channel dedicated to incredibly substantive interviews and topics. Of course it has FAR less views than our main channel which includes a combo of substance and (a lot of) fun.

We DON'T know that Sarah Palin won't be a "serious" candidate for President. I don't think she has a chance in hell, but stranger things have happened. Discounting ANYONE is risky. Plus, criticizing her is an indirect way of criticizing the people, including Republicans who hold office, who believe the things she believes.

RW type, misinformed and uninformed.

Palin is putting her self out there for criticism. I guess she shouldn't hold press conferences, go on book tours and address a political party convention if she doesn't want to be discussed in the media.

Suggesting President Obama is a pathological liar is ridiculous. Like Cenk said, he is just a regular lying politician. Not that we shouldn't hold him accountable.

Wasn't the last brush with disaster enough? What makes the minions of the right think for one second that she would even amount to a mediocre leader? She is a disaster on heels.
