What a douche. He and his ilk, not only enabled but furthered the agendas which ultimately led to a walking disaster like Palin. Because they were interested in ratings and their own economic interests above all else, even their supposed journalistic integrity and obligations.


Palin is the proverbial Frankenstein monster which has now taken a life of its own and no longer follows the commands of its master. And I fully expect the likes of Matthews to play coy and pretend they have nothing to do with this disaster which is the insane conservative agenda they have been pushing hard for the better part of 4 decades. Now that it is starting to bite them in the hand... now that it may be too late and the hubris is too obvious to ignore.

Watch while each of these pundits try to outdo each other trying to claim they "were the firs ones to see the writing in the wall" and blah, blah, blah. As always trying to figure out how to make a quick buck out of the situation, rather than doing their actual jobs as journalists.

And if they find the right useful idiot, then we will have to watch out. I shudder to think what Bush they have in the pipelines getting ready to be propped after the next couple electoral cycles.


Palin is the moron at the trailer park who things they have made and are part of the elite, because they are given a free beer and get to shoot the shit for a couple of minutes with the owners of the mansion of which pool they are in charge of cleaning. She is trash, the fact that she is useful trash doesn't mean jack squat at the end of the day to the real power brokers in that operation.

more than just a few Americans who would vote for her. To be honest, I'm not even sure what in the hell she was trying to say in that clip. Does she advocate starting a war with Iran? That woman gets under my skin in a big way. Her snarky, cutesy, mocking comments are just nauseating.

- while the commentary about her is all negative the volume of threads and messages devoted to Sarah Palin exceeds any other topic I've ever seen in this forum. What this proves is Palin is charismatic, which is a powerful political attribute.

While the attention Palin gets from our categorical (Progressive) segment, who represent a comparatively small percentage of the voting public, is totally negative, this woman enjoys a similarly high level of popularity among the less politically sophisticated (Conservative) segment who are extremely receptive to charismatic influence which, for them, transcends politically practical considerations. Evidence of this is seen in the fact that while Dennis Kucinich was without question the better candidate the man is utterly devoid of charisma while Obama is the very essence of it.
