1. If the Tea Party activists were filled with people like Shane Brooks
I would probably be right there with them, unfortunately it isnt right now. Thanks for having him on Thom.

4. We need to hold
another Constitutional Convention to reform our government by the average Americans. Teabaggers invited... it may prevent bloodshed and anarchy.

2. The MSM gerbils show the teabaggers as a bunch of fat, angry, white, bigoted semi-literate goofballs
If I can see teabaggers represented more by people like Brooks, I can support the cause. The way Brooks talks, it's not about race. It's not about party. The teabaggers you see do little more than condemn Obama and the Democratic party while the Republicans they seem to support have been getting away with the same stuff. I wonder why they're not raising hell on Wall Street or in front of the SCOTUS. The issues Brooks spoke on are not partisan and are very real.

5. What a fractured group.
Tancredo, that asshole who advocated for an electric fence on the border during his candidacy, speaks out for the tea baggers.

For many of them, it is about race. The "cult of multiculturalism", he doesn't cloak it very well, does he?

snip** The first night's speaker said the country "put a committed socialist ideologue in the White House," referencing the president by his full name, Barack Hussein Obama, and launching a tirade against the "cult of multiculturalism" that led to his election.

6. Is it just me?
Or does anyone else see a parallel between the GOP's treatment of the Tea Party and the way the DLCers act towards Progressives?
